Hand trauma is one of the commonest injuries that we face in accident emergency. The involvement of soft tissue often happened in hand injury for which proper closure of the defect and wound will usually yield a superior result. However, not all the time direct closure of the wound is a possibility and soft tissue reconstruction in form of flap coverage is indicated. In this one and half day course, we will demonstrate the most common hand flaps used in hand surgery including a hand-on training and cadaveric dissection. The course is necessary for all plastic and orthopedic surgeon who are interested in the field of hand surgery as well as residents dealing with emergency trauma
